Jackson Pollock was the artist from the 30’s who has his own style of bringing visual art into the lives in the world where the art was at its pace. He arises in the time when the painting was being introduced slowly in the walls of the buildings, parks, schools as a material of the decoration. His painting reflects the depression, tragic hearted man and sometimes colorful. He used the large sized canvas for his painting and his art can be seen throughout the canvas. His art is known as the “drip and splash” style as he didn’t
use brush instead he used knives, sticks etc. His art doesn’t emphasis any sort of emotion or forms or anything and has no dimension too. His art has the unique features as his art is scattered all over the canvas and to somewhat it captured some form of art that looks phenomenal.
Jackson Pollock gives a new dimension to American art as he introduced new forms of painting in the history of modern art. He directs the traditional art into new and unique forms. His art was created with passion and didn’t focus on any specific information but due to its uniqueness hold its own significance.

Pollock’s painting defines his own way of bringing out his emotions or thoughts into visual art. The randomness of his art in the canvas kind of shows his madness as it’s scattered all over however it is done keeping its theme and beauty in position.
For me his art is kind of interesting as it has its own way of representing beauty. He fully utilizes the canvas and gives his painting a life. His painting is one of a kind and he has surely given American art a
direction. I personally like the coloration in his painting as the colors are so well balanced and maintained together. Overall his painting gives a sort of pleasure to the eyes.
